A recent survey conducted in Mumbai to pick the sexiest women in tinsel-town, interestingly had the shapely Katrina Kaif topping the list. The other actresses, who scored in the survey were Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta. Priyanka got tied in the second slot, while Lara on the third.

The men, who took part in the survey, even had a wishlist ready for Katrina. While some wanted to see her in a bikini, a few others wanted her to drape nothing but a white sari.

Speaking on this, Katrina stated that for her sex appeal is more than just looking good or wearing short clothes, it is all about oozing out the right kind of attitude and how you carry yourself.

“I have also got adulation when I got de-glam, like for Rajneeti. This means that I have chosen the right kind of films in which people have liked me. I will be sexy when required and go de-glam when a project comes to me. I have not closed my mind that I will only do a certain kind of movie,” further added the 26-year-old actress.

Katrina Kaif, who has been struggling with her health for some time, collapsed on the set of Tees Maar Khan shortly after greeting co-stars Akshay Kumar and Farah Khan. A doctor was summoned and suggested she was suffering from exhaustion and should rest. However, by the afternoon, she was back on set working. "It's okay, I just collapsed. I'm fine now,” she explained, “Farah and Akshay called the doctor for me. It's nothing serious... just low blood pressure because of the heat."

As well as her movie commitments, Katrina also works very hard for her mother’s charity organisation Relief Projects India and Mercy Home. Her TV earnings and the proceeds from her recent CD of nursery rhymes will feed into the funds for the NGO as well as a number of personal appearances. “My mom has always been involved with charity for women,” she says, “And I’m happy to help. It lets me give something back to society."

Katrina apologised sincerely and warmly when one of her bodyguards stood on the foot of a female journalist as Katrina left the FCCI conference earlier this week. For the very first time Bollywood Queen Katrina Kaif and the hot and happening Ranbir Kapoor are coming together for Rajkumar Santoshi’s directorial venture ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani’. Katrina Kaif recently got hit on the face by Ranbir Kapoor, of course unintentionally.

Kat was shooting with Ranbir on the sets of the movie in Madh Island where the duo were acting out a chase sequence where they were hounded by goons. The scene demanded Ranbir to turn around and hit one of the chasing goons. He did that but in the bargain hit Katrinas’s nose with his hand and the actress ended up with a bleeding nose. She was immediately given a first aid on the sets.

The actress was in great pain but realized that but it was unintentional, so she didn’t complain. Injured Kat confirmed the incident. Ranbir plays Prem, an innocent guy in the film and he will play two distinct characters in the movie similar to Charlie Chaplin and Raj Kapoor.

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has been adjudged the sexiest Asian woman in the world in 2008 by a UK-based weekly, with 2007's winner Bipasha Basu pushed to the second spot.

In the annual round conducted by 'Eastern Eye', a leading British Asian newspaper, Kaif emerged on the top in a shortlist of 10.

The judges included Brianna Ragel, editor of ‘Asian Woman Magazine’ and the former editor of ‘FHM India’, Farhad Dadyburjor.

Hamant Verma, editor of ‘Eastern Eye’, said: "Katrina Kaif's natural beauty and easy charm has enabled her stock to rise in Bollywood. This has resulted in a number of lucrative offers, and appearances in films that proved to be box-office hits."

Kaif, who was brought up in London, was ranked one place above 2007's winner Bipasha Basu and two ahead of 2006 winner Priyanka Chopra. Kareena Kapoor came third in the list.

New entrants to the 'sexiest list' included Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat (nine), Miss India Universe Simran Kaur Mundi (10), former Miss Sri Lanka Jacqueline Fernandez (12) and South Indian actress Asin (22).

Katrina cancels her b'day plans with Salman

The terrible weather in Ooty has one pleasant surprise in store for Katrina Kaif. She will be
celebrating her birthday (July 16) in Mumbai along with boyfriend Salman Khan. Initially,Salman was planning to fly down to Ooty on her special day. Says a source, "Salman had planned to take off a couple of days from the shooting of 10 Ka Dum and spend time with Kat in Ooty on her birthday. But now that the schedule is cancelled, Salman and Kat will be celebrating her birthday in Mumbai.

Katrina, who returned to Mumbai on Monday night confirms, "There was a lot of wind and rain in Ooty and the shooting was getting disrupted." Though Katrina feels birthdays are for children to celebrate she's happy to be in Mumbai and not Ooty.

"I am not sure if I will have a birthday party like last year as I don't like parties. Ideally, I'd like to go off for a couple of days to somewhere like Dubai as that's one of my favourite holiday
destinations." Quiz her about Sallu's presence on her birthday and Katrina says that she doesn't
like to talk on her personal life. "That's why I can never blog (like Sallu) as I don't like sharing my personal thoughts. My blogs would be empty."

Though boyfriend Sallu will be there to hold Kat's hand on her birthday, her sisters and mom might not be there. "Mom was with me at the London Zee awards and at IIFA. I was lucky to have her there as I was very unwell and on heavy medication. I had a viral and was burning up from inside but seeing mom's smile and her pride made it all worthwhile."

Katrina is planning to buy her "dream home" soon. "Being a Cancerean I love to be near water and I had always wanted to buy sea facing property. Unfortunately, my Bandra house is not sea-facing but I hope I will get my dream flat soon."

In spite of her hectic schedule Katrina finds time to watch Salman's TV show on Sony, 10 Ka Dum, from time to time. "It's a satisfying show, fun and cool. In fact, I knew of the American show as one of my sisters, Melissa, who is intellectual and studious, often plays that version in our hotel room."

It is well aware that the shooting of 'Puli' was postponed due to the accident occurred to its director SJ Surya during the shooting of a Tamil film.

The Pawan Kalyan-starrer, Puli, produced by Singanamala Ramesh on the banner of Sri Kanakaratna Movies is likely to go to sets in July.

Lakhan Singh aka Lucky (Sonu Sood) is the 'king' of the Australian underworld accompanied by his associates (played by Javed Jaffrey, Neha Dhupia, Manoj Pahwa, Yashpal Sharma, Kamal Chopra and Sudhanshu Pande.) Far away, in a small village in Punjab, where Lucky was born, there exists someone more notorious than him - Happy Singh (Akshay Kumar). The village is fed up of his magnanimity, which has resulted in a number of hilariously disastrous situations. Out of desperation, they decide to send him on a long trip (that will keep him out of the village for a while!) to bring Lucky back to Punjab, as his despicable deeds were maligning their image in Australia.
The happy-go-lucky bumpkin, taking his mission a bit too seriously, embarks on his journey accompanied by his friend, Tony Singh (Om Puri), who hates Happy for dragging him into it.

The high point of his journey is his chance meeting with Sonia (Katrina Kaif) with whom he falls in love, but upon reaching his destination, things take a precarious turn as he runs into a series of comic misadventures, leaving him penniless. He is fortunate to find warmth and affection in an elderly lady (Kirron Kher) who helps him meet Lucky.

In a strange turn of events, an attempt on Lucky's life is foiled by a well-intentioned Happy who fights off the attackers by risking his own life. Following the hilarious altercation, Lucky lands up in hospital paralyzed, and Happy, unexpectedly, finds the tables turned on him when he is expected to assume the role of the new 'kinng'!

The series of chaos, shocks and comic misunderstandings that ensue eventually result in redemption and an accidental wedding!

She not only rubbished the reports but also released a press statement to end the controversy.
"People need to stop imagining so much," Katrina said in the statement. "This is pure imagination on someone's part. Akshay came in for the show in the night and left immediately as he had a flight to catch. "I had dinner with Twinkle and her friends. My mother was with me as well. So what is with these stories?" she asked.

Sanjay Gupta, who directed her recently, has a lot to say about the IPL film that he has shot for Vijay Mallya with Kat. “I wanted to project Katrina as a rock star. When Mallya asked me whom I wanted to work with, I said Katrina. She’s had the hits so far. But she hasn’t been projected correctly as a diva. The three come together once again in Singh Is Kinng , a Vipul Shah produced and Anees Bazmee directed flick. May be that's why when Vipul Shah decided to direct London Dreams , it seemed like he would cast his fave actors – Akki and Kat – together once again! However, that was not to be.

As the shooting of Vipul's Singh Is King completes its last schedule in Egypt, Vipul has already started focusing his energy on London Dreamz . Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan have already been roped into this one, and there were talks that Katrina walked out of the project to re-allot her dates for a Yashraj film. Vipul retorts, "I don't know where these rumours stem from. I made it clear that I wanted a new face for London Dreamz and Katrina is not part of it."

Katrina's business manager Sandhya corroborates "No Katrina has not been signed for London Dreamz as at the same time she will be shooting for Yash Raj's next that will be directed by Kabeer Khan."

She couldn’t have, as she was never a part of London Dreamz in the first place. No one is miffed or angry. We get along well. Katrina has been a part of two of my films, and we share a good working relationship. In such a situation it’s a little difficult to have fights and ugly scenes.” So, has Vipul zeroed in on a girl for his venture? “Yes, we’ve conducted the auditions, I have found my actress.
